Squatea app for iOS · Last updated: September 22, 2026

Squatea blocks the apps you choose and unlocks them when you exercise in front of the camera. This notice explains what data the app uses and what data leaves your phone.

The camera

The front camera is used only to count reps. Pose analysis happens on your phone. No image or video is stored on our servers or sent to third parties. If you share your results card, you generate and send that image yourself.

Screen Time

Squatea uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (Family Controls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity). Apple gives the app opaque identifiers for the apps you choose: Squatea cannot see which apps you have installed, which ones you chose by name, or what you do inside them.

Data that is sent

We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not track your activity across other apps or websites.

Local storage

Your settings, streak, and session history are stored only on your phone. If you delete the app, they are deleted.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data linked to your identifier by writing to iam@armando.mx. Data controller: José Armando González López, Mexico.

Children

Squatea is not directed at children under 13.
